- copy paper or cardstock paper and color printer
- washable tempera paint in fun colors
- sponge paintbrush
- baby wipes (optional for cleanup)
Step #1: Get The Free Printable Handprint Craft PDF

Step #2: Paint your child’s little hands
Use the sponge brush to paint your child’s hand with yellow or blue washable paint. Remember to have some water or wipes nearby in case things get messy.
Step #3: Press your child’s hand onto the handprint template
Make sure to lay the template on a flat surface and help your child press their hand onto the paper. Here’s the secret to getting a good handprint – Lift your child’s hand, straight up – this way fingers aren’t moving or sliding.
