Make this Pumpkin Craft for Preschoolers while reading these Fun Books:
Step 1: Download and Print the Free Template
Download the Free Pumpkin Craft Template. In the next step, learn how to quickly cut out as many as you need.
Step 2: Staple and Cut Out the Pumpkin Craft Shapes
Once you have the print outs, you will staple them to orange paper and cut out as many pumpkins as you need.
Note: If you want to make this craft with a group of kids, you can staple the template to up to 10 sheets of copy paper, 5 sheets of cardstock or 5-8 sheets of construction paper.
So, did you know, you can staple together 10 pieces of copy paper and cut out 10 shapes at a time?! That’s my SECRET to fast & easy crafting.
Stapling the paper is very important because it makes sure it doesn’t move as you cut. The more staples the better. Cardstock is the thickest so you may only be able to cut 5 sheets at a time.
Step 3: Optional – Cut out jack-o’-lantern face
Included in the Pumpkin PDF template is a jack-o’-lantern face. You can cut these out and the kids can glue it to the pumpkins.
Just as you did with the pumpkins in Step 2 above, staple the jack-o’-lantern face template to multiple sheets of black paper. Then you can cut out multiple jack-o’-lantern faces at a time.
Always remember to staple and cut out multiple shapes at one time.
Step 4: How to Assemble
You have a fast pumpkin craft and the kids will enjoy decorating their pumpkin.
- Use markers and stickers to decorate your pumpkin.
- optional – use a glue stick to glue on the jack-o-lantern faces
- Don’t forget to put your name on the back.
And you’re finished.
This is a great craft for Fall and Halloween. And it’s easy enough for preschool, elementary, Scouts or just a fun craft at home idea.

I requested the pumpkin craft but it never arrived in my email, which was too bad because I was doing a group at that time. That was two hours ago and I still haven’t received it yet. 🙁
