Step 1: Download and Print the Free Pumpkin Template
Download the Free Paper Pumpkin Printable. Just print out as many pumpkins as you need

Step 2: For Small Pumpkin Cut Pages in Half

If you use the smaller pumpkin, make sure to save some time by lining up the printouts and cutting multiple sheets at a time.
I LOVE the look of the large pumpkin, but know that you will need A LOT of tissue paper. And it takes quite a bit of time to crumple and glue on every piece of paper.
Kids each work at their own pace so you will have some that finish quickly and some that are much slower.
Step 3: How to Assemble
The kids will enjoy ripping and smushing the tissue paper and gluing it onto their pumpkin!

Tip: If you do not rip the tissue paper or crepe paper ahead of time, you will want to give each child their own supply so they can rip. They seem to really enjoy this!
Make sure to bring extra crepe paper because this craft uses more than you think!
- rip a small piece of crepe paper
- squish up your piece of paper
- either dip it in white school glue or rub it onto the top of your glue stick
- push the crepe paper onto to the pumpkin where you want it
- continue until the pumpkin is full – try to stay in the lines
- Don’t forget to put your name on the back.
And you’re done!!
This is a great craft for Fall and Halloween. And it’s easy enough for preschool, elementary, Scouts or just a fun craft at home idea.
