Step 1: Download and Print the Free Winter Craft Template

Download the Free Winter Clothes Template. You will be stapling the printed PDF to sheets of colored paper to cut out the shapes.

The Winter Clothes Template has everything you need to make this Winter Craft for Kids.

Step 2: Staple and Cut Out the Winter Craft Shapes

Print the Clothes Template and staple the pieces to multiple sheets of paper before cutting

Once you have the print outs, staple them to construction paper and cut out the shapes you need.

Note: If you want to make this craft with a group of kids, you can staple the template to up to 10 sheets of copy paper, 5 sheets of cardstock or 5-8 sheets of construction paper.

So, did you know that you can staple together 10 pieces of copy paper and cut out 10 shapes at a time?! That’s my SECRET to fast & easy crafting. Stapling the paper is very important because it makes sure it doesn’t move as you cut. The more staples the better. Cardstock is the thickest so you may only be able to cut 5 sheets at a time.

Tip: While you’re cutting, if you cut off all parts of the pages that have staples, make sure to re-staple the sheets that are left. Whenever you’re cutting multiple sheets at a time, make sure they are always stapled together.

Step 3: How to Assemble this Winter Kids Craft

I recommend having a finished craft so the children can see what the final version will look like.

  1. First, if you don’t have skin-colored paper, just color the circle with your skin tone crayon.
  2. Glue the jacket onto the pants.
  3. Glue the white coat hood (the squiggly white circle) onto the top of the jacket.
  4. Next, glue the skin-colored circle into the middle of the white coat hood.
  5. Glue the hair onto the top of the face.
  6. Glue the mittens on the end of each arm.
  7. Finally, use a marker to draw a face onto your craft.
  8. Optional: You can use cotton balls to make the coat hood fluffy.
  9. Don’t forget to write your name on the back.

    1. Hi, The way the website works is that it sends every activity via email. But because they’re sent automatically, sometimes the emails get blocked altogether or sent to SPAM or PROMOTIONS folders. Hopefully, after you download a few crafts, the emails will start coming to your inbox. Don’t ever hesitate to contact me at [email protected] if the template emails don’t come through.

I haven’t received the winter clothes craft after trying multiple times. This is the first time this has happened because I receive all your other crafts.

    1. Hi Tawnya, I just sent you an email, Im not sure why this one isn’t working as well. I’m going to try to fix it. Thanks! ~Jeannie
