Step 2: Staple and cut out the Emoji shapes
Once you have the Emoji craft template printed out, staple it to construction paper and cut out multiple shapes at a time.

You can staple the template to up to 10 sheets of copy paper, 5 sheets of cardstock or 6-10 sheets of construction paper.
So, did you know, you can staple together 10 pieces of copy paper and cut out 10 shapes at a time?! That’s my SECRET to fast & easy crafting.
Stapling the paper is very important because it makes sure it doesn’t move as you cut. The more staples the better. Cardstock is the thickest so you may only be able to cut 5 sheets at a time.
Tip: While you’re cutting, if you’ve cut off all parts of the pages that have staples, make sure to re-staple the sheets that are left.
Step 3: How to Assemble
The kids will have so much fun making their own fun and easy emoji!

- Decide if you will be making a paper emoji or plate emoji. Then start by gluing on the eyes.
- Glue on the mouth and any extra details.
- If you’re making the paper emoji, make sure all the pieces are attached, and you’re finished!
- If you’re making the plate emoji, flip the plate over.
- Tape the popsicle stick to the back of the plate. I recommend using two pieces of masking tape.
- Don’t forget to put your name on the back.

After you select either the paper or yellow plate, start by gluing on the emoji’s eyes.

Glue on the mouth and any extra details.

If you select the plate, again start by gluing on the eyes.

Then glue on the mouth and any extra details.

Flip the plate over and tape on the popsicle stick. I recommend using two pieces of masking tape.

Don’t forget to write your name on the back, and you’re finished!

And you’re finished!

It took me about 10 minutes to have the supplies for 20 kids. How amazing is that?!
This is such a simple and fun craft. It’s perfect for boy scouts, classrooms, birthday parties, or just a fun craft at home idea.
As always, I try to make my crafts fast, easy & inexpensive. Enjoy!
