- copy paper or cardstock and color printer
- washable tempera paint in fun colors (green paint and orange paint are fun for this craft)
- sponge paintbrush
- baby wipes (optional for cleanup)
Step #1: Get The Free Printable Handprint Craft PDF

Step #2: Paint your child’s hand
Use the sponge brush to washable paint your child’s palm or foot. Remember to have some water or wipes nearby in case things get messy.

Step #3: Press your child’s handprints onto the St Patrick’s Day Handprints Template
Make sure to lay the template on a flat surface and help your child press their hand onto the paper. Here’s the secret to getting a good handprint – Lift your child’s hand, straight up – this way fingers aren’t moving or sliding.
