Step 1: Download and Print the Free Winter Kids Craft Template
Download the Free Winter Kids Craft Template. These pages include everything you need to make this fun craft. Decide whether or not you will make the photo craft and print the corresponding page.
Step 2: Cut out a Photo of Your Child
If you plan to make the photo craft, you will need a photo of your child’s face. Photos where your child’s face is the main part of the image work best. You can take a picture with a white background or cut it around the child’s face for a clean look.
Step 3: How to Assemble this Winter Kids Craft
I recommend having a finished craft so the children can see what the final version will look like.
- First, color in your winter child.
- Next, cut out your child.
- Glue your winter child to a piece of blue construction paper.
- Next, glue the photo of your face onto your craft (optional).
- Finally, use white paint or a window dauber to add snow all over your page.
- Optional: You can glue cotton balls around your face photo to give your winter coat a fluffy hood.
- Don’t forget to write your name on the back.
