The Free PDF includes the spaces for a footprint, handprint and other measurements including: Name, Date, Height, Foot length and hand span.
Step #2: Paint your child’s hand & foot
Use the sponge brush to paint your child’s hand and foot. Tip: It’s easier to do the hand first! Remember to have some water or wipes nearby in case things get messy!
Step #3: Press your child’s hand onto the handprint template
Make sure to lay the template on a flat surface and help your child press their hand onto the paper. Here’s the secret to getting a good handprint – Lift your child’s hand, straight up – this way fingers aren’t moving or sliding. Repeat the process with their foot.
And you’re finished!
This is a great back to school craft or just for fun. But, I specifically did not include the words “First Day of School” because we all know how stressful it can be to get things done on the first day!
