Do your kids love to drive around and look at Holiday lights? Make it more fun by having a scavenger hunt. Check off items as you find them like a North Pole Sign, four decorated houses in a row, Santa, the Grinch and more. There’s lots of ways to play:

One printout for the car and everyone looks for the lights and decorations
Everyone gets their own printout and see who can spy the most items on the list
Two or more families each take a printout in their car and see which car can check off the most items on the list
Take it with you when you go holiday shopping and let your kids try to find items on the list (while you find all the deals)
Use the list inside a classroom or school where there are lots of decorations – make teams of kids and let them look for items on the list
Use the list to play a Christmas “guess the drawing game” like Pictionary. Cut the items into strips and have each person take turns drawing and guessing
